JOB TITLE: Senior Lecturer in Business, Management & Marketing

SALARY & HOURS: £58,105 to £64,246 per annum & 35 Hours per Week

The School of Business is seeking to appoint an outstanding Senior Lecturer in Business, Management & Marketing with a strong commitment to teaching excellence, student success, research and scholarly activity. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery and continued development of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the Department and play a key role in supporting the University's strategic ambitions.

The postholder will work closely with the Dean and academic colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of programmes, contribute to curriculum development, maintain high academic standards and support quality assurance processes. The role includes teaching, assessment, student support, personal tutoring, programme leadership responsibilities and active engagement in research, knowledge exchange and enterprise activities.

We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in Business, Management and/or Marketing and a proven ability to develop innovative teaching approaches that inspire student engagement and achievement. The successful candidate will also contribute to recruitment activities, oversee student progression and provide academic leadership within their programme area.

The successful applicant should hold a PhD in a relevant discipline together with a recognised teaching qualification. Candidates should demonstrate experience of delivering high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervising student research, supporting student wellbeing and contributing to research and scholarly activities within their field. Experience of developing research bids, securing external funding, publishing high-quality research outputs and delivery of executive education/apprenticeships would be advantageous.
